Honda Plays It Safe: Airbag Recall Expanded
Honda is well known to be a company that prioritizes safety: for families, for individuals, for commuters and adventurers alike. The brand has been built on the engineering and constant advancement of safe, secure, quality vehicles to fit all lifestyles.
The company this week announced an advanced schedule of Takata airbag recalls, pushing up the next round of recalls to be ahead of schedule. This is due in part to a larger availability of replacement parts needed to make the repairs, and to a very successful rate of repairs that Honda has experienced so far.
If your Honda car, truck, or SUV has been affected by this airbag recall, please contact our service department. All vehicle safety recall repairs are covered at no cost to you at authorized Honda dealers like Gwinnett Place Honda in Duluth.
This round of recalls will add some 1 million or more vehicles made by the Honda brand.
Automotive News reports that the American Honda Motor Co. has completed repairs on some 78% of vehicles affected, according to data collected by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
If you have questions or concerns about Honda recalls that may relate to your vehicle you can check all active recalls online at the Honda owner portal, or you can contact us for help.
If your vehicle is under recall–but you’ve been planning to upgrade–we can work with you to trade in your car for a newer Honda model, and we’ll take care of the rest.
