To begin with, all CPO Hondas are less than six years old with fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer and a clean vehicle history report. After meeting these basic requirements, the vehicle must then pass a Honda-mandated 182-point inspection, which we perform here at our service department. If any component doesn't meet our exacting standards during the inspection, our technicians will repair or replace it to bring the vehicle up to factory specifications. Besides passing this detailed inspection, all certified pre-owned Hondas will have all required maintenance done before hitting the dealership lot. The end result is a used car that you can trust for years to come.
The Honda CPO Warranty
A Honda CPO vehicle is far more than simply a used car in excellent mechanical condition. The unique benefit of buying from a certified Honda dealership such as Gwinnett Place Honda is that we can offer an extended factory warranty that will be honored by any Honda dealership in America. The CPO warranty demonstrates how much Honda stands behind its CPO program. The basic CPO limited warranty extends the original Honda factory limited warranty from 5 years/60,000 miles to 7 years/100,000 miles. Given that all Honda CPO models are no more than six years old and have fewer than 80,000 miles on them, that means that you are guaranteed factory support for at least one year or 20,000 miles - but very few CPO vehicles that we sell are anywhere close to the age or mileage limits mandated by Honda.
The basic CPO limited warranty is a powertrain warranty that covers the engine, drive system, and transmission with a $0 deductible. However, this is not the only warranty that is included with a CPO Honda. For non-powertrain items, including steering, suspension, electrical systems, climate control, and Honda audio systems, there are two tiers of coverage: HondaTrue Certified and HondaTrue Certified+. All Honda CPO models come with HondaTrue Certified coverage, which provides you with a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty on top of whatever remains of the original 3 year/36,000 mile factory warranty. If your CPO vehicle is less than a year old and has fewer than 12,000 miles on it, it qualifies for HondaTrue Certified+ and 2 years/50,000 miles of coverage on top of the original factory warranty.
The HondaTrue Certified and HondaTrue Certified+ levels of coverage also include two complimentary oil changes within 12 months/12,000 miles of the date you buy your CPO Honda. They also include 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance and, on compatible vehicles, three complimentary months of SiriusXM satellite radio. You can also choose to add additional levels of HondaCare coverage to your CPO warranty plans. If you have any questions, our skilled sales team members know these plans inside and out and will show you just how much time is left on the original warranty and which additional options are the best choice for you and your new vehicle.
Why a Honda?
Whether you're looking for a compact car to zip around Atlanta or need something to transport the whole family out to Stone Mountain Park, you'll find a match in the Honda family. From the compact Civic sedan and hatchback to the comfortable Odyssey minivan, Honda has a huge array of models to choose from. If an SUV is more your style, then check out the extremely popular CR-V, the three-row Pilot, or one of Honda's other models. Finally, truck lovers can enjoy a Honda as well with the unique Ridgeline midsize pickup, which offers a standard V6 engine and the best ride quality in its class.
Today there is increasing interest in alternative fuel vehicles, and Honda provides several exciting options. Honda is one of the most environmentally-conscious automobile manufacturers around and has been renowned for producing extremely efficient vehicles ever since its introduction to the American market decades ago. Today, it offers hybrid versions of traditional models such as the CR-V and Accord, as well as the unique Clarity hydrogen fuel-cell sedan. This revolutionary form of propulsion generates electricity from a chemical reaction and emits only water from its exhaust.
But Honda's wide range of vehicles and commitment to preserving the environment are only some of the many reasons to buy a Honda. For instance, did you know that Honda is one of the most American auto manufacturers? While Honda was founded in Japan, it has been building vehicles in the United States since the early 1980s. Today, there are a total of 19 factories making Honda components here in the States, and more than 90 percent of all Honda vehicles sold in this country were made right here in North America.
