According to a press release by American Honda Motor Co., Inc, the Honda brand, as of now, has sold 1,000,000 Honda vehicles equipped with the Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety and driver-assistance systems.

That's one million cars, SUVs, trucks, and hybrids keeping the streets safer for all of us.

But that's just the beginning. While Honda Sensing--an exclusive, intelligent suite of technology features--is currently available on most models and standard on select few, the Honda brand has big plans for the future of vehicle safety.


What Does Honda Sensing Include?

While the specific features may vary by model, Honda Sensing may include systems like these:

Standard Safety by 2022

The big news--beyond the million-vehicle mark--is that the American Honda Motor Company says that they intend to have standard Honda Sensing across the entire lineup by the 2022 model year. Also by 2022, the brand hopes to get to 95% automatic emergency braking to assist in limiting the frequency or severity of accidents.
