Honda Kicks it up a Notch with the 2017 Civic Type R

The wait is nearly over for the 2017 Honda Civic Type R to reach dealers in the U.S. After being debuted earlier this year we are excited to announce that we anticipate our first delivery of the Type R this June 2017.

The Type R will feature a high performance 2.0-liter turbocharged power-train, substantially upgraded body and chassis, and other track-ready, Nürburgring-tuned and tested performance components.

Greater Atlanta drivers will be interested to know that they Civic Type R will share the body style of the latest 10th generation Honda Civic Hatchback. It will also feature three driving modes: Comfort, Sport (default) and +R. It will only be released in the premium Touring trim that features a 7 inch Display Audio touchscreen interface, standard back-up camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Honda Navigation as well as a 12-speaker audio system.

With the sharp exterior and racing inspired interior, the 2017 Honda Civic Type R will be the car to watch for later this year.
